 Lillian Too's First Feng Shui Extravaganza In The Country Set Today

The year 2006 may be the most exciting year for Filipinos as one of the world's leading exponents of Feng Shui, Lillian Too, is visiting the country for the very first time to reveal what the year of the Fire Dog has in store for everyone. Too intends to share her knowledge and to guide everyone through 2006 with her seminar dubbed as "LILLIAN TOO'S Feng Shui Extravaganza." Spearheaded by the World of Feng Shui Philippines (WOFS), through its president and CEO Marites Allen, the event is set today from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Westin Philippine Plaza, Harbor Garden Tent, Pasay City.
The timing of Ms. Too's arrival could not have come in a more auspicious time as the Chinese New Year is expected to dawn earlier this year, giving the public a perfect chance to foresee what is in store for them.
Too is the founder and chairman of WOFS.com and WOFS boutiques - a feng shui merchandising and franchise company present in Malaysia, Spain, Brunei, India, Hawaii, Japan, Indonesia, Netherlands, Australia, Thailand, New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA, Mexico and the Philippines. She also heads the Lillian Too Certified Consultants Institute, which runs correspondence courses and certification programs in feng shui.
An MBA graduate from the Harvard Business School in the USA, Too was the first woman in Malaysia to head a public listed company. In 1982, she became the first woman in Asia to be appointed CEO of a bank.
She was at the top of her career when she decided to quit and pursue her passion for writing and to become a full-time mother. She imparts, "I want to tell you, when you make a decision to quit when you are at the top, when you have so much power and everything is done for you and everyone wants to be your friend, you become nothing overnight. Believe me, it was tough."
She has authored over 80 best selling books on the subject, translated into 30 languages. Her books sell millions of copies around the world and in the process popularizing feng shui worldwide. She has given feng shui consultations to many famous people - business magnates, celebrities, and the like. She further noted that she has also done consultations in Hollywood. She discloses, "One was an Oscar winner. The year she was up for an Oscar, she called me. The she won a major Oscar award. Another one is a well-known actor who is a Buddhist."
Too reveals, "I say to them, 'It works for me and I hope it works for you.' I am very proud that we have succeeded. I don't sell feng shui as magic. I don't sell it as anything spiritual."
